We’re not just about the chicken (although ours is always Finger Lickin’ Good). We’re also about making a positive social and environmental impact – which includes becoming a net-zero business, helping people get a foot on the work ladder, caring for our communities, and offering balanced food choices. We’re hungry to become a fully circular, zero waste business by 2035, as well as becoming a net zero carbon business by 2040 at the latest – and we recently launched a partnership with University of Liverpool’s Zero Carbon Research Institute to help us get there. In addition to that, we’re taking steps towards more responsible sourcing and tackling food waste by keeping the skin on our fries (who knew!). Find out what else is in our planet saving recipe.
ENERGY & CLIMATE
We’re taking action on climate by committing to being Net Zero by 2040 at the latest. We know that running a busy restaurant like KFC takes a lot of energy (and we’re not just talking about elbow grease), so we’ve been introducing energy-saving measures and gadgets across all our restaurants.
